ABOUT
MEC Cork was founded by Donal Galvin in 1989 and is a family run business. M.E.C has been involved in many projects spanning a wide range of sectors including pharmaceutical, petrochemical, commercial and heavy and light industry.
In 2018 Donal passed the reins to his son James 'Jimmy' Galvin who started his career as an apprentice with M.E.C. Jimmy has since gained extensive experience working as a Supervisor / E&I Technician in the Gas/Oil and mining industry working in countries such as the U.A.E, Qatar, Paupa New Guinea, Dominican Rep, and the North Sea (Off shore), also working in the Pharmaceutical industry in Cork at Centocor, GSK and Cara Partners and commercial fit outs for Tesco, Supervalu and Cork Airport new terminal.
